Technical Project Lead

As a Technical Project Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Advanced Technology business, delivering complex engineering solutions and specialist manufacturing programs to the automotive, aerospace, marine, and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integrated project team to ensure seamless design and development of integrated engineering solutions, aligning with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Act as primary customer technical interface, managing engineering meetings and leading review and negotiation of changes and deviations to requirements.
  • Ensure design and development of integrated engineering solutions are compatible with customer requirements and Prodrive business objectives, from initial concept to verification and final validation.
  • Lead the requirements management process, defining, decomposing, and balancing stakeholder needs, ensuring project requirements are achieved with successful final customer sign-off.
  • Manage engineering risks and issues, leading issue resolution and risk mitigation planning.
  • Deploy Prodrive engineering processes, systems engineering best practice, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of operations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a senior engineering role with proven technical team leadership and engineering project delivery.
  • Experience in managing technical projects and associated project management best practice processes.
  • Experience in applying systems engineering V-diagram and associated engineering best practice processes.
  • Experience in managing customer requirements, target decomposition, and balancing.
  • Experience in delivering project quality, cost, function, and weight to target.
  • Excellent communication skills, both formal and informal.
  • Able to lead by example, representing Prodrive culture and corporate image both internally and externally.
