About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Sustainable Design Consultant to join our expanding sustainable design team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality BREEAM consultancy services to a diverse range of clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide BREEAM consultancy services on a range of asset types, including offices, data centres, education and training facilities, residential institutions, and workshops.
  • Lead client and design team workshops to ensure clear and articulate communication.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop sustainable design strategies and produce sustainability statements in support of planning applications.
  • Prepare and submit assessment reports for BREEAM.
  • Advise clients on cost-effective solutions to achieve desired BREEAM ratings.
  • Support the training and development of junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject.
  • 4 or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • Licensed BREEAM assessor.
  • Understanding of Building Regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex sustainable design concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Willing to apply for security clearance.
