Audit and Accounts Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of clients and providing audit and accounting services to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Prepare accounts for corporate organizations, including corporation tax returns, and provide expert advice on financial matters.
  • Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of audit and accounting services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and compliance, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.
  • Provide quotes and estimate fees for clients, ensuring our services are competitively priced.
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, promoting our services and building new business.
  • Delegate work to and mentor junior staff, supporting their learning and development.

Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or a finalist with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.
  • Strong knowledge of audit and general accounting, including risk analysis and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to provide expert advice on financial matters.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
