About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners throughout the UK who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve academic success.

Our learners may present with complex learning requirements, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Childhood Trauma. We are looking for an experienced Science Tutor who can create engaging lesson plans, deliver tuition, and monitor progress to foster continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored tuition sessions to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to learners.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance.

Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
