We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at a primary school in Hyde, Stockport.

The role involves providing 1:1 support to a child in reception who displays challenging behaviour. We require someone with experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and the ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, proactiveness, and resilience in supporting the child's needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in a child's education.

  • Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support to students who require additional help. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that allows students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with SEND
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
  • Experience of working with children with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
