Role Overview

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to develop your experience in working with children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Barnet, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized support to students with ASD, promoting their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care and speech and language interventions
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being

Requirements

- Psychology degree or relevant experience
- Experience working with children with ASD or other SEN
- Child-centered approach and ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
