As a School Run Driver, you will navigate familiar routes, develop relationships with the families you serve, and become a trusted figure in their everyday lives.
Key Responsibilities- Transport children safely to and from school on designated routes, adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off schedules to minimize wait times for families.
- Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle to provide a safe and pleasant experience for passengers.
- Establish positive relationships with children and parents, fostering trust and communication during each journey.
- Assist children in boarding and disembarking the vehicle, paying special attention to those with additional needs.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of each journey, including any incidents or special requests from parents.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in driving or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills, particularly with children and parents alike.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential to maintain a consistent schedule.
- Ability to navigate local routes efficiently using GPS and traditional maps.
- A patient, friendly demeanor that puts children and parents at ease.
