Job Summary

Citigroup Global Markets Limited is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Analyst to join our team in Belfast. As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across our business. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global bank and contribute to the development of our risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for executing daily controls focused on remediation of breaks, identification, and root cause analysis of reporting issues, and BAU management of key deliverables for Trade reporting (MiFID II Post-Trade Transparency & Swiss Trade Reporting). You will also ensure the day-to-day delivery of complete, accurate, and timely reporting as defined by regulation and industry practice. Additionally, you will run and monitor daily reporting controls, identify and provide transparency into reporting issues, and work with key stakeholders across the business and technology to remediate any gaps.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of operational risk management and regulatory requirements. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you will need to have a high level of computer literacy, specifically related to the use of Microsoft Excel, and exposure to SQL/VBA (advanced Excel) is an advantage. You will also need to be able to demonstrate effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to escalate issues to seniors as appropriate.

Job Requirements

This is a full-time role, and you will be required to work in our Belfast office.
