About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCSE Drama Examiner to join our team. As an Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.
  • Utilize ePEN, our online marking system, to mark scripts from the comfort of your own home.
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times to ensure quality control.
  • Meet milestones for marking and ensure all administration is completed as specified.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, relevant to the GCSE Drama qualification.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification as a teacher.
Competencies
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme effectively.
