Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Team Leader A Shift to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the Qualified Trainers in ensuring that all employees and agency operatives are trained to meet their job requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Weekly Paid Inductions: Lead the induction process for new employees on the A Shift, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support to excel in their roles.
- Food Safety Training and Compliance: Deliver and maintain Food Safety training for operatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Training Effectiveness and Assessment: Assess the effectiveness of key skill training, particularly for Delford and Process Controller training, and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Compliance: Monitor and maintain LMS compliance above 85% for the shift, ensuring accurate data entry, removal of leavers, and transfer/promotion capture.
- CCP Position Audits: Conduct daily audits of colleagues in CCP positions to ensure they are trained, reducing food safety risk and ensuring customer audit compliance.
- Supervision and Guidance: Supervise Qualified Trainers, providing guidance and instruction to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality training.
- Ad Hoc Training Requirements: Serve as the point of contact for management regarding ad hoc training requirements, such as Technical or Health and Safety operative training.
- Training Deployment and SOP Review: Support the rapid deployment of training for new SOPs or work instructions within the 30-day grace period on the LMS system and review SOPs to ensure alignment with Health and Safety, Technical, and Operational standards.
- Performance Management: Support the Performance Management process, focusing on capability assessment and independently validating performance management decisions.
