Job Summary

As a Senior Transport Planner at Matchtech, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters, from feasibility work to project implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing and presenting technical data and drawings, as well as liaising with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
• Preparation of Travel Plans and Travel Plan Coordination
• Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
• Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as required
• Checking the quality and accuracy of work produced by junior team members
• Supporting Team Leaders in delivering comprehensive advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters, from feasibility work to project implementation
• Undertaking site appraisals/visits, designing surveys, and providing input to written reports and presentational material
• Ensuring that all electronic and paper files on projects are kept up-to-date

Requirements

• Degree in an applicable subject such as Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
• Experience with UK Transport Planning standards and processes
• Membership of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT) is desirable
