About the Role

As a Care Support Specialist with Sanctuary Group, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have faced homelessness to achieve their full potential and live independently.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £12.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to our customers, focusing on maximizing their independence and confidence.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to develop personalized support plans that meet individual needs.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for customer queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Building strong relationships with customers, upholding their personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Collaborating with external support networks to enhance customers' overall wellbeing, health, and employability.
  • Handling unexpected situations with poise and professionalism.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and progress.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • A proactive attitude, flexibility, and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, alongside proficient literacy and numeracy.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines and targets.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue it is essential.
