As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the management of a large portfolio of retail units, providing proactive day-to-day property management, negotiating re-gears, surrenders, and lease renewals, and liaising closely with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Work as part of a team responsible for the management of a large portfolio of retail units where our client acts as the landlord.
  • Property Negotiations: Carry out proactive day-to-day property management, including involvement in negotiating re-gears, surrenders, and lease renewals.
  • External Partnerships: Liaise closely with external partners, including landlords, developers, tenants, property professionals, and legal business partners.
  • Financial Management: Carry out budget management and value engineering activities.
  • Rental and Service Charge Management: Manage service charges and rental payments.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Ideally RICS or SCSI qualified or a proven track record in retail property management from a property consultancy or client-side organization.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial property management, including retail property experience.
  • Operational Experience: Direct operational experience and knowledge of property and lease management.
  • Negotiation Skills: Comfortable identifying opportunities and negotiating re-gears, lease renewals, and surrenders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to technical detail allied to a proactive self-starter approach.
  • Location: Either already based in the Dublin area or open to relocating.
  • Travel: Able to travel within the region of the portfolio.
