About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a KS1 Teacher, covering a Year 1 class on a long-term basis at our school in Inner London.

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging KS1 lessons that cater to diverse pupil needs, promoting academic achievement and social development.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively and creating a safe space for learning.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the Classroom Teaching Assistant (TA) to ensure lessons are tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, leveraging their expertise and experience.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Adapt learning materials to cater to diverse pupil abilities and learning styles, making education accessible and enjoyable for every student.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Must have UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrating a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.
  • Curriculum Expertise: Strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum, enabling effective lesson planning and delivery.
