We are seeking a qualified Linguistics Graduate to fill a key role in our team at an Ofsted Good rated school in Barking & Dagenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in linguistics and a proven track record of working with students with special educational needs.

\

In this role, you will work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEN, provide one-to-one support to students with speech and language challenges, and collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent and high-quality provision for students.

\

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEN\
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with speech and language challenges\
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent and high-quality provision for students\

Requirements:

  • \
  • A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in linguistics from a leading UK university\
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN\
  • Specific experience in speech and language support (preferred)\\/ul>\
