Job Title: Senior Finance Manager, Pensions

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business success and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and review financial data, including subscription and circulation revenue, marketing costs, and editorial costs.
  2. Identify and mitigate risks across all areas, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  3. Collaborate with the Subscriptions Technology team to ensure understanding of subscriptions models and technology platforms.
  4. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
  5. Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified with comprehensive post-qualified and management experience.
  2. Total ownership of your role, including team development and stakeholder relationships.
  3. Strong technical accounting background to manage the revenue recognition process effectively.
  4. Ability to convey relevant information accurately and timely to all stakeholders.
