About the Role:
As an experienced Aviation Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Heathrow Airport-based fuel system. Your primary focus will be on performing daily Jet A-1 aviation fuel product quality control checks upon receipt of fuel, during storage, and before discharge from the storage tanks to confirm that the aviation fuel is on specification and fit for purpose.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform testing and maintenance activities to ensure fit-for-purpose Jet A-1 is delivered into the hydrant system.
- Contribute to excellent health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) culture and performance by participating in competency development, competency assessments, and task observations.
- Apply mechanical isolations to equipment when required and support the safe and smooth uninterrupted operation of the tank farms & hydrant (pipework) system.
- Promote and comply with company policies and procedures on equal opportunities and health and safety.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in the fuels or aviation industry as a Technician.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be able to pass a basic DBS check.
- Good understanding of mechanics or a mechanical background.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately £50,010 + Overtime + Bonus + Private Healthcare. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, with a mix of earlies, lates, and night shifts, and 40 hours per week.
