About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineering Lead to join our team at Post Office Ltd. As a Cyber Security Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing and developing our Cyber Engineering function.

The successful candidate will have experience in Cyber Security Engineering or IT Infrastructure/Cyber Operations, SOC, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS. Comprehensive experience of working with Splunk, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender is also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Information Security principles and an understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and other information security defence and intelligence frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the POL Cyber Engineering team
  • Co-ordinate the efforts of the Engineers, including SIEM platform specialists
  • Offer technical guidance and support
  • Ensure effective monitoring takes place
