We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Specialist to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our nuclear safety team, you will play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients and helping them achieve their low carbon energy ambitions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Produce hazards assessments and complex safety cases to support critical decision-making in the design, operation, and/or decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
  • Work with diverse clients from defence, nuclear generation, and nuclear new build, including innovative players from the fusion and SMR markets.
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers to support our growth and improve our capability for project delivery to clients.

  • Competitive salary: £36,000 - £50,000 per annum plus additional pay in line with our performance philosophy and recognition culture.

  • Flexible and hybrid working, including the opportunity to work abroad for up to 20 days per year.
