About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of electrical works in domestic housing and commercial premises in various areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical tests and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Upgrade heating systems and replace consumer units to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Rewire domestic premises and perform reactive maintenance works to resolve electrical issues.
  • Participate in kitchen and bathroom upgrades, ensuring electrical systems are installed correctly.
Requirements
  • Hold a completed apprenticeship in electrical installation.
  • Be a fully qualified electrician with City & Guilds 236 (part 1 and 2) certification.
  • Have a valid driving license and be able to drive a company van.
  • Comply with health & safety regulations and have a knowledge of electrical safety standards.
  • Hold City & Guilds 2391 (inspection & testing) certification and an ECS Gold Card.

  • A 42.5 hour working week, with call-outs on a 1 in 10 rota.
