Job Title: Care Support Worker - Acute & General About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our acute and general settings. Person Specification: Qualifications: * All Care support worker roles will be required to provide evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification. Evidence accepted includes: * Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements. * Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation * QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011 * QCF Level 2 OR above Diploma in Health & Social Care or Clinical Healthcare Support issued after 2011 * QCF Level 3 OR above Diploma in Healthcare Support or Maternity & Paediatric Support issued after 2011 (For Paediatric & Maternity roles only) * Degree /Diploma in Nursing and currently do not have an NMC Registration. Experience: * Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
