Mechanical Supervisor Job Description

PSR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works, as well as managing mechanical sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to and working with the Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Supervising and undertaking all Mechanical works, including assessing the quality of work delivered by Labour and sub-contractors.
  • Managing mechanical sub-contractors and ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Assisting the quality manager with QA sign offs and dealing with any technical issues that may arise.
  • Maintaining safe working practices and attending daily meetings with management and other trades.
  • Delivering toolbox talks and arranging inductions for new staff.
  • Managing productivity and pushing the project towards completion.
Requirements:
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • Previous experience in industrial and commercial building services.
  • Mechanical trade or Engineering qualification.
  • 5-10 years' experience working for Mechanical Contractors.
  • Experience in commercial projects.
