Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer - Building Services to join our team. As a key member of our Maritime team, you will be responsible for preparing designs and analysis for maritime and associated structures, from initial concepts through to detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and collate design data
  • Carry out inspections and surveys
  • Produce design calculations, check and review calculations produced by others
  • Produce outline models, drawings, and details for CAD (in Revit environment if possible)
  • Prepare draft Bills of Quantities, Contract Documents, and Specifications
  • Provide engineering judgment and advice

Requirements:

  • Civil or Structural Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in planning and design of ports/heavy civils projects
  • Experience in reinforced concrete design and finite element analysis
  • Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the UK and overseas
