About the Role:

  • We are seeking a qualified English Literature Instructor to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment leading to excellent attendance, retention, and achievement.
  • This role requires effective planning and delivery of inspirational teaching, ensuring students progress through the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials, and student assessment.
  • Record, share, and monitor student progress using College information systems.
  • Prepare learning plans, schemes of work, keep relevant records, and undertake administration relevant to teaching duties.

Requirements:

  • A Level 5 or equivalent Teaching Qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE or willingness to work towards this.
  • At least 2 years' experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (Desirable).
