Part-time: 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday 12-3pm, 38.6 weeks per year.

Contract Type:

Permanent.

Full-time Equivalent Salary:

£21,544.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant - Inclusion and Pastoral Role. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the behaviour, communication, social, and emotional development of children across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide interventions through small group and one-to-one work with pupils to support their learning and academic progress.
  • Offer behavioural and pastoral support as a trained ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and Thrive Practitioner.
  • Support the safeguarding leaders in school to respond to any individual pupil needs or concerns raised.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience of a similar role or working in a primary school is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
