**The Ideal Candidate**

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Secretary to join the Bishop's office team in the Episcopal Area of Bradwell. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the Bishop, ensuring that they are well-informed and well-prepared for meetings and engagements.

As a skilled administrator, you will be responsible for managing the Bishop's diary, handling correspondence and inquiries, building strong relationships with diocesan staff, clergy, and parishes, and overseeing the Bishop's email account. You will also coordinate the organisation of hospitality, including regular social gatherings of clergy and lay ministers, training events, and wider strategic meetings.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Manage the Bishop's diary and ensure that they are well-informed and well-prepared for meetings and engagements
  • Handle correspondence and inquiries on behalf of the Bishop
  • Build strong relationships with diocesan staff, clergy, and parishes
  • Oversee the Bishop's email account and respond to emails accordingly
  • Coordinate the organisation of hospitality, including regular social gatherings of clergy and lay ministers, training events, and wider strategic meetings


**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this role is £34,469 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days annual leave, access to Occupational Health, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
