Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee staffing, induction, training, and development, ensuring a skilled and knowledgeable team.
  • To maintain accurate reporting and monitoring systems for seamless operations.
  • To manage occupancy and financial targets effectively.
  • To guarantee accuracy and integrity in the Connect Childcare database system.
  • To design and implement extra-curricular activities aligned with EYFS requirements.
  • To adhere to staff ratios and deployment strategies in all nursery rooms.
  • To lead safeguarding and child protection efforts within the nursery.
  • To ensure delivery of the EYFS framework.
  • To collaborate closely with outside professionals and the SENDCo.
  • To uphold safe recruitment practices and complete necessary documentation.
  • To create weekly rotas and registers for staff and children's attendance.
  • To provide essential policies, procedures, and support.
  • To prioritize the physical health and well-being of children within the nursery.
