Countryside Events Coordinator

We're seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at CPRE Rutland. As an Event Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in organizing events and activities that engage our supporters and the general public.
With a passion for the countryside and environmental issues, you'll be responsible for running a variety of events, supporting marketing and promotion, and helping to deal with enquiries and offers of help.
You'll need to be organized, have good communication skills, and be able to commit to volunteering regularly. In return, you'll gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and be part of a friendly and passionate team.
- Organize events and activities to engage supporters and the general public
- Support marketing and promotion of events in the local area
- Help deal with enquiries and offers of help
- Plan and organize resources and suppliers
- Set up and tidy up after events
- Oversee activities and supervise helpers
- Provide a warm welcome and engage people with our work
- Liaise with teams at National CPRE for joint initiatives
- Interest in the countryside and environmental issues
- Experience of organizing events
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Flexible attitude and happy to volunteer outdoors
- Happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Access to a computer and internet at home
- Commit to volunteering regularly
