About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Southwark. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will be working closely with pupils who require additional support due to their Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualized support to help pupils succeed academically and emotionally. You will also run intervention sessions to enhance their development in key areas and encourage participation in classroom activities. Additionally, you will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage with their learning environment.

The benefits of this role include access to regular training on ASD and other SEND areas to enhance your skills, term-time only work for a great work-life balance, and collaboration with SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists for a multidisciplinary learning experience. Full-time hours are available from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a competitive pay of £21,200 - £23,000 per year.
