Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse Specialist

Job Title: Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse with experience in cataract, vitrectomy, glaucoma surgeries, and injections for high-volume lists. This is an ongoing placement with approximately three shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert scrub support during ophthalmic procedures, including cataract, vitrectomy, and glaucoma surgeries, as well as handling injections.
- Work efficiently in high-volume surgical lists, ensuring all instruments and equipment are prepared and managed effectively.
- Assist in the recovery unit as needed, providing post-operative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries.
Position Details:
- Work Pattern: Approximately 3 days per week
- Scrub Shifts: 08:00-18:00
- Rates:
- Day Rate: £33.00 per hour
- Saturday Rate: £36.00 per hour
- Sunday Rate: £39.00 per hour
- Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
- Experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse with proficiency in cataract, vitrectomy, and glaucoma surgeries
- Ability to manage high-volume surgical lists and assist in post-operative recovery care
