Butchery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Butchery Operative to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, plus benefits.

The ideal candidate will have experience working behind the butcher counter or in a professional kitchen. They will be responsible for:

• Maintaining quality, fresh and attractive displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales;
• Preparing meat primals for sale to company specification, including cutting, pricing, weighing, steaking, dicing, mincing, boning, flavouring, and wrapping;
• Producing meat cuts based on customer requirements, inclusive of our online customers;

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience working with meat products;
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of butchery techniques;
• Able to work flexibly across other fresh counters to ensure our customers are catered for across Market Street;
