**Senior Learning Support Practitioner Opportunity**

We are seeking a Senior Learning Support Practitioner to join our specialist college and training hotel, supporting young people aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs in Minehead.

This role will involve assisting House Team Leaders and Deputies in supporting students in the residential houses and at the Hotel. The successful candidate will play a significant role in helping to achieve the company's mission, which is to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and to live independently.

  • Lead, support, and guide Student Support Practitioners (LSPs) on your shift, under the support and guidance of the House Team Leader/Deputy House Team Leader.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of the service during your shift, responding to emergencies and providing guidance and support to LSPs.
  • Support students in their learning, enabling them to reach their full potential, under the guidance of the House Team Leaders/Tutors.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience in a similar role, with training provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience in supporting in the care or education industry.
  • A desirable understanding of working with people with a disability.
