Senior Pensions Administrator Position

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pensions Administrator to join our team at Aon in Birmingham. As a key member of the pensions administration team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to internal and external clients.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role that requires working a minimum of 50% of your working week in the office and having the flexibility to work up to 50% from home. You will be required to provide technical expertise, monitor team activity, coordinate workload, produce and analyse reports, and identify issues with processes handled in teams.
Responsibilities
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for processes, clients, systems, and tools, and be proficient in processing and checking.
- Monitor team activity and coordinate workload in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by organizing, prioritizing, and making effective workload allocation decisions.
- Produce and analyze reports as required for internal and external clients and requirements.
- Identify issues with processes handled in teams and drive a process to find and implement solutions.
- Implement changes to tools and documentation needed to support effective service delivery.
- Increase the level of processing knowledge and drive continuous improvement in all areas of processing.
- Write and maintain knowledge documents, keeping them up to date and incorporating changes to legislation.
- Share best practice with colleagues through process and tool training.
- Take part in both internal and external audits.
- Be a role model in the team by giving constructive feedback to colleagues to improve performance and supporting the Manager.
- Coordinate and participate in projects that will impact the work of teams and domains.
- Build strong relationships with client teams, client representatives, and third-party providers.
- Achieve team and individual targets (KPIs, SLAs, quality targets).
- Contribute to the team, supporting the rest of the team based on their needs (a buddy to less experienced colleagues and supporting more senior colleagues).
- Maintain required technical knowledge and behavioural standards and expertise, especially all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by your manager.

Salary Information
We estimate the salary for this position to be approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We recognize the importance of fair compensation and strive to offer competitive salaries to our employees.
