Job Description

At Tech 4, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to lead our digital product development team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing software solutions using Python and AWS services. They will be responsible for overseeing the development of publishing software, systems, and customer-facing digital products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of software, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Promote the creation of high-quality code using modern agile engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with QA and Product teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Act as an expert in multiple knowledge areas and encourage knowledge sharing within the organisation.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes.
  • Cultivate innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the Engineering Team Charter and other organisational strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and team building skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities.
  • Practical experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Deep understanding of software design, code quality, and ability to propose architectural options.
  • Extensive experience in Python and its ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and JS frameworks.
  • Experience with extreme programming practices such as incremental development and continuous integration.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Good communication, negotiating, and influencing skills.

Benefits:
