**Job Title:** B1 Licensed Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are currently recruiting for a B1 Licensed Technician to join our team at Aeropeople. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with company quality and regulatory airworthiness standards.

**Main Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  2. Be responsible to the Shift Manager for the receipt, dispatch, and servicing of aircraft, including pre-flight checks, daily checks, weekly checks, and scheduled maintenance.
  3. Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks in accordance with your scope of authorisation.
  4. Ensure that all technical staff working under your supervision perform their duties in a safe and correct manner.
  5. Control of documentation for aircraft under your control, ensuring that all required certification entries are promptly and correctly recorded.
  6. Control of any material or company equipment provided for the task, and the cleanliness of your working area.
  7. Be available at short notice to perform AOG recovery of aircraft from deployed operations.
  8. Liaise and discuss technical issues with Planning.
  9. Co-ordinate the ground movement of aircraft assigned by the Shift Manager.
  10. Ensure H&S requirements are met and adhered to under all circumstances.
  11. Report all safety/ disciplinary matters to the immediate Line Manager.
  12. Conduct any other such duties as required from time to time, and as directed by the Line Manager.

**Requirements:**

  • B1 UK CAA Licence.
  • Must pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience in line and base maintenance environments.
  • Demonstrable experience on commercial or military aircraft is desirable.
  • Hold a company approval on commercial aircraft or military equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience working within a MOD environment is desirable.
  • Previous outstation experience is desirable.
