Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly and award-winning team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe production of beverages and meals for our residents.
Your focus will be on maintaining a clean environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and contributing to team working. You will also be responsible for advising on the supply and quality of items used in the kitchen, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
You will also need to have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Additionally, you will need to be an efficient worker, capable of a high level of sustained physical effort, and able to respond to a demanding workload.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, positive, and able to work well in a team. You will need to exhibit a caring and understanding attitude towards our residents and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
