Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our supply chain function, driving efficiency and performance across the business. As Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement, planning, scheduling, and logistics functions to ensure a seamless integration between departments and the broader operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supply Chain Leadership: Develop and implement effective strategic plans to improve supply chain operations and align with business objectives.
  2. Procurement and Logistics: Oversee procurement, planning, scheduling, and logistics functions to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain.
  3. Process Integration: Ensure the smooth integration of supply chain processes with sales and operations to optimise lead times and delivery schedules.
  4. Team Management: Lead and motivate your team to achieve objectives and drive departmental success.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes through the application of lean methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Supply Chain Experience: Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  3. Strategic Mindset: A strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
