We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to perform emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on a 24/7 on-call basis. You will work with electrical and/or mechanical equipment and systems, performing on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
You will provide technical support and training to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Additionally, you will serve as a customer contact on technical and service-related problems, working under direct supervision and following detailed guidelines to work on moderately complex repairs and installations.
Typically, this role requires 2 years of formal technical training beyond high school and 1-2 years related experience. Individuals at this level are still acquiring skills and knowledge of the products being serviced and/or the testing and calibration equipment being used.
