Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to clients' needs both on and off site, servicing projects from start to finish
  • Quoting clients' job requirements, seeking approval via Regional Director
  • Developing client relationships, ensuring continuation of projects
  • On-site management, including coordination and supervision of tradesmen
  • Managing resources in line with project budget, controlling costs, and ensuring clients' expectations of quality are met
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Project Engineer/client-facing position
  • Mechanical/industry experience essential
  • Industry knowledge of steam, chilled water, and compressed air desirable but not essential
  • Process Pipework experience is essential
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, design ability, and Microsoft Office
  • Either IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
  • Commutable distance to Slough
  • Full UK Driving License

Remuneration:

  • Salary £65,000 dependent upon experience
  • Working hours, Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm (40 hour working week)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holiday
  • Pension
