We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Medical Practitioner to join our team at Thorpe Hesley Surgery.

About the Role

As a General Medical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to our practice population. You will work closely with our experienced and skilled healthcare team to deliver excellent clinical care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and diagnose conditions, developing effective treatment plans and managing patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our practice's policies and procedures.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will have:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and guidelines.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • A strong sense of empathy and compassion, with the ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of health literacy.
