Clinical Neuropsychologist Development Role

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team in a development role. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for providing neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injury, including FND, and their families. You will contribute to a culture of support and collaboration both in the service and with partner agencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injury, including FND, and their families.
- Active contribution to MDTs: providing case discussion and care planning with an emphasis on sharing biopsychosocial formulations and evidence-based interventions.
- Contributing to audit, research, and service development.
- Providing formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff, including trainees, as well as providing teaching and learning opportunities.
- Providing clinical expertise and leadership in the psychological and cognitive needs of individuals following a stroke and ABI and their families.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Clinical Neuropsychologist with a strong background in neuropsychology and experience working with individuals with acquired and neurodegenerative brain injury. You will have a Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. You will also have experience of conducting clinically relevant research and providing formal and ad-hoc supervision to other staff.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of strategic planning and service development.
- Experience of teaching and training psychologists in a Clinical/Counselling Psychology doctorate training course.
- Experience of leading in relation to the development and organisation of psychological interventions within a given clinical area.
