Job Overview

At Solstice Limited, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of food safety standards, quality control procedures, and compliance with industry regulations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured on site meet customer requirements and comply with food safety standards and current legislation. This includes conducting effective departmental audits, supporting the development of new products, and coordinating site activities to drive continuous improvements.

In this role, you will work closely with the Technical Team to ensure full compliance with BRCGS standards and other customer audit requirements. You will also provide technical support and advice to the production team and liaise with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure raw materials are available when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with food safety, legislation, quality, and customer requirements
  • Implement quality assurance standards and procedures
  • Conduct internal audits (GMP, Hygiene, Glass & Plastic) and document findings
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances issued
  • Provide technical support and advice to production team members
  • Routine QA/Technical tasks
  • Liaise with Warehouse Team in raw materials quality checks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the food industry, preferably manufacturing
  • FHSA Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 qualifications
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and functions
  • Good communication skills across all levels, formal and informal
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
