Teaching History with Passion

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to work in schools across Huddersfield. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging history lessons that bring the past to life, helping students understand historical events and their significance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver history lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Engage students with historical inquiry and discussion.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons to meet their needs.
  • Promote an interest in historical research and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching history in UK secondary schools.
  • Have a strong command of historical knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
  • Be enthusiastic about engaging students with the study of history.

This role requires a deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Successful applicants will need to pass all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
