Job Title: Components Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Components Engineer to join our team at Crane NXT, Co. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Job Summary:

The Components Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electronic components and systems that meet the company's quality and performance standards. This includes conceptual research, hardware design, validation design, and implementation of engineering changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct conceptual research and design electronic components and systems
  • Develop and implement hardware designs, including prototyping and circuit analysis
  • Generate schematics and perform detailed circuit analysis to verify design compliance
  • Manage projects and create/track project plans for PCBA redesign, supplier transfer, cost reductions, and other support projects
  • Travel to manufacturing, supplier, and customer sites as needed
  • Assist manufacturing facility with root cause analysis and quality improvement projects
  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends
Requirements:
  • Experience in the design and development of digital and analogue electronics principles and design
  • Familiarity with resonant circuits based on opamp and comparitor building blocks
  • Ability to develop and manage sub-projects within the broader constraints of the overall project plan
  • Ability to deliver and complete projects to strict deadlines
  • Flexible work environment and willingness to travel
