Job Title: Field Service Technician

Finning is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the field, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers in the field, diagnosing and repairing equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all necessary information is shared and that work is completed effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained / Formally trained Engineer (NVQ Level 3 preferred in Land Based Engineering / Plant Fitting)
  • Experience in the use of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment
  • Heavy Earth Moving equipment operating knowledge
  • LDV driving licence
  • Experience of a variety of construction and static machines
