You will be committed to providing a high-quality education to all students, including those with Special Education Needs (SEN). We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support Key Stage 1 (KS1) students on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to students with a range of special educational needs in KS1.
  • Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create and implement tailored learning plans.
  • Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Monitor and track the progress of SEN students, reporting findings to the teaching staff.

Requirements:
  • A Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in KS1.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with SEN students.
