The University of Edinburgh seeks an experienced Stores Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Chemistry Stores.

This role is crucial in maintaining a high standard of service delivery, stock management and hazardous waste disposal.

Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues across the university and managing a team to ensure excellent service levels.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate effective management skills, a customer-focused approach and a sound understanding of health and safety issues relevant to a chemistry store.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for ordering and managing stock, including hazardous materials, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing excellent support to the School of Chemistry.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be between £33,882 and £39,105 per annum, depending on experience. The position is permanent and full-time, with 35 hours worked per week.
