New Business Sales Executive Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Birmingham. As an Elevator and Escalator New Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships, managing opportunities, and closing deals to increase KONE's profitability.
This is a new business sales role, and while industry experience is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for someone who can sell with confidence and maturity, is digitally savvy, and comfortable communicating complex information.
The role will involve a mix of office and field-based work, with travel across the region to meet with potential clients. You will need to be collaborative in your approach, able to influence internal and external stakeholders, and build sustainable customer partnerships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively developing and creating customer relationships in your area of responsibility.
- Accountable for developing KONE's position in your customer base or market area.
- Creating and communicating leads and sales opportunities for the entire KONE sales team.
- Documenting customer and contact information, maintaining customer data.
You will also be responsible for selling, including:
- Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales targets.
- Validating that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome.
- Accountable for hand-over to Portfolio Managers and maintenance operations with complete and correct information.
- Maintaining full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
Skills and experience required include:
- Mastering customer contacts, presentations, and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
- Previous experience and results in Sales and customer relationship management.
- Good IT skills, CRM Salesforce.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
