Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) is seeking a skilled Agricultural Expert to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a leading agricultural consultancy, providing expert technical and business services to customers throughout Scotland.

This role requires flexibility, with regular travel to accommodate customer needs. As an Agricultural Expert, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a team of local consultants and technicians to ensure customer delivery success and develop their skills and careers.

You will also be expected to provide financial responsibility for the performance of your team and manage workflow effectively. In addition, you will be required to identify solutions for customers adapting to changes in regulation, Government policy, and evolving markets.

As an Agricultural Expert, you will have the chance to facilitate or assist in the delivery of content and events for the Farm Advisory Service (FAS). You will also contribute to writing and devising technical content for press and newsletter articles, case studies, and podcasts.
