Senior Developer

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join our Data Management & Programming Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on delivering data solutions to support clinical trials at the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU).
This full-time fixed-term position offers a competitive salary of £43,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will play a key role in designing, maintaining and managing project-specific database systems that support a wide range of clinical research projects, including clinical trials.
- Elicit business requirements from project stakeholders
- Develop and implement data management solutions using NET development
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or equivalent IT knowledge gained through education, training and experience
- Four or more years of IT software development projects successfully delivered
- Some knowledge of medical terminology
